Sacramental Preparation for First Reconciliation & First Communion:
Please note that it is expected that each child is enrolled, and actively participating, in Religious Education at least one year prior to the sacramental year.
First Reconciliation and First Communion preparation take place during 2nd grade. First Reconciliation is celebrated during Advent and First Communion in April or May.
In addition to faithfully attending class on Wednesday nights, parents and children work together on a “child-friendly” sacramental preparation book at home. There is one book for each sacrament.
There is an informational parent meeting for each sacrament. At least one parent is expected to attend.
